Community in the Spotlight - Country Classics at Morgan Hill

The first Community in the Spotlight of 2011 is Country Classics at Morgan Hill! The community, located in Northampton County, Pennsylvania was established in 2004 and is home to approximately 320 residences.

Residents of the close-knit community stay busy with a variety of activities, both in and out of the neighborhood. With multiple amenities, most residents opt to recreate close to home! The large clubhouse includes a fitness center, pool, and an all purpose room with a full kitchen, used for parties or even card games. Outside of the neighborhood, residents spend time visiting the Crayola Factory, and the Easton Farmers' Market, which was established in 1752. The market holds the honor of being the oldest continuously operating outdoor farmers market in the country.

The area has a rich historic background with sites including Center Square, which was one site of only 3 public readings of the Declaration of Independence. The area also boasts being home to the largest non-wax Christmas candle, called the Peace Candle.

How does this busy community stay connected? With their AtHomeNet community website, of course! Volunteer administrator, Amy Lasorda, enjoys updating the home page to reflect the different seasons. Popular features on the website include the Address Book, Classifieds section, Homes for Sale, and the Events Calendar. With so many activities, the website functions as a hub of information, easily accessible by residents, community volunteers and Board Members, whenever and wherever they need information.

We congratulate Country Classics on being named the first Community in the Spotlight for 2011 and we look forward to many more years of supporting this historically rich community!
