Our community is comprised of full and part time residents. While most of our homeowners are officially residents of other places in the United States, we share the common bond that initially attracted us to Los Altos and to own a home here. The vistas are great, the climate is comfortable, the air is clean, and access to recreation is outstanding. We have a sense of security, the coyotes and meadow larks sing, the rainbows and sunsets are indescribable.
Many of us share our homes on a limited basis as short term vacation rentals. What makes staying at a home in Los Altos unique is the feeling of being a part of that community- if only for a short stay.

Talisman is one of the last group of adobe homes built in Los Altos on the 'ski valley road', just 9 miles from the base lifts at Taos Ski Valley. The home has recently been refurbished, removing some walls, constructing some additions, redecorating and also upgrading the landscaping. Only a mile away is the little town of Arroyo Seco, with interesting shops, including a cafe with excellent food and wireless internet access, gift shops, galleries, a mercantile and restaurants.
