August 30, 2010

Suwanee, GA - AtHomeNet, Inc. (www.AtHomeNet.com), a web services company located in metro Atlanta, announces their membership in the National Preparedness Month Coalition. September marks the seventh annual National Preparedness Month, an awareness month created to encourage businesses, communities and individuals to prepare for a variety of potential emergencies.

By joining the coalition, AtHomeNet has agreed to promote emergency preparedness throughout the month of September. The company will promote awareness to their employees as well as clients through a variety of mediums including email bulletins, blog articles, and special articles in their email newsletter.

"Becoming a member of the National Preparedness Month Coalition aligns perfectly with our goal to provide our clients with the ultimate communication tool for their communities, management companies and other organizations," remarked Susan Sanders, CEO of AtHomeNet.

With the release of AtHomeNet's newest feature, MultiConnect, website administrators will soon be able to send a simple email, text message and voice call to the residents of their community from the convenience of their website. This new feature is designed to be used in the case of an emergency, but can also be used as a communication tool for everyday use. The feature will continue to evolve over the next several months and offer more options for a variety of uses.

"Including an alert system like MultiConnect in preparation plans gives a community the advantage of reaching their residents wherever they are. We're excited about providing this technology to our clients and taking our services to the next level," said Jeff Sanders, President and Director of Technology for AtHomeNet.
