New Features & Enhancements September 2011
- Facebook Events Integration - In July, we introduced Facebook integration for your Announcements feature. This month, we have given you the ability to integrate your Events Calendar with your Facebook Page! When you add an event to the Events Calendar, simply check the checkbox to add the event to your Facebook Profile or Facebook business Page and it will appear on your Wall and as an Event in your Calendar.
- NOTE: This integration required additional Facebook access rights. If you had previously enabled Facebook for Announcement integration, you will need to revisit your website settings to disable and re-enable to access the new options!
- Event Calendar Security - Create unique calendar views for specific user groups with this enhancement to the Event Calendar! Define who can view special dates on your Events Calendar by specifying a category for different groups. For example, keep Board Members informed by creating a new category in the Events Calendar with view level access set for Board Members Only and specify this category when scheduling meetings or activities for Board Members.
- Message Board Subscriptions - Many communities have active Message Boards, where residents interact with each other on a variety of topics. Previously, residents were able to opt-in to receive email updates from all threads/posts on the Message Board. We have added functionality so that residents can subscribe or unsubscribe to a single thread/post, tailoring their experience on your website to meet their needs.
- Task Manager Attachments - You may know that you can include notes and an attachment to tasks in the Task Manager-this month's enhancement gives you the ability to add a new attachment to each note! You are permitted an unlimited number of notes, allowing you to add several attachments to a single task.
- Address Book Reports - Several enhancements have been made to Address Book Reports this month!
- We have added a "Hide Record Date" option - show dates that specific records will be disabled in your report (this is especially helpful for communities with renters)
- We gave also made the selection of these fields easier by adding a Select / Deselect ALL checkbox which allows you to select or clear all Address Book fields you wish to include in your reports.

- Email Bulletins - Prompt user to login to the website by including the "login name" and "password" Code Snippets in your Email Bulletins! Using the Code Snippets allows you to place the specific login name and password for each resident anywhere in the Email Bulletin as part of your message.
- NOTE: If you have disabled the option to send residents their login and password information, the login name and password options will not appear in the Code Snippets menu.
- Email Bulletins - Each month we add new email bulletins for you to engage your residents in various activities or reminders. This month, we have added 2 new Email Bulletins! Enjoy!

What's New in TOPS
- INTRODUCING CALLFAST! MultiConnect and TOPS Software users will be excited to hear about our newest feature, CallFast! Residents will be able to call your community's MultiConnect service number to retrieve information about their account. The caller is checked against the community Address Book to confirm their information. When a matching phone number is found, it will prompt the caller to request Account Information where they will hear their account balance, as of date, last payment amount, and the date the last payment was recorded.This feature will reduce calls to your office and give residents another option to retrieve their account information!
- Manager Email Address Web Setting - The "Manager Email Address" Setting provides a more efficient way of processing login requests from residents! This email is used to notify the manager at the management company about pending login requests. Please note, when a resident requests a login to the website but does not have a profile, the resident must first be added to their TOPS software to ensure their information will be uploaded to our site during the next upload.
- Address Book Reports - We have enhanced Address Book Reports to include the "Owner Account Balance" option. Selecting this option will pull all account related information for each resident including Account Balance, Balance As-Of Date, Last Payment Date, Last Payment Amount, and Last Payment Check Number.
- All of the new features and enhancements for AtHomeNet websites have been added to TOPS websites! Enjoy!
