Community in the Spotlight

Every month our Support Team nominates an association that they feel are using the AtHomeNet website services in a special way. Be sure to visit often for great ideas you can implement in your own association!

This Month's Spotlight Community is Project LIFT

Project LIFT

We're changing things up a bit and featuring one of our organizational clients instead of a community! This month, we're introducing you to Project LIFT, a newly established non-profit organization in metro-Atlanta, founded to provide a mentoring program for "at-risk" youth in the Atlanta area. With a focus on academic support, personal accountability, and skill development, mentors as well as teens are given the tools to become sustainable, contributing members of their community.

"We love the ability to use our website to share information about who we are and what we are trying to do with at-risk teens in our community. Through our website we have been able to reach out to potential families in need, volunteers to help mentor and support the program operations and sponsors to help provide the financial support," said Amanda Reed, Program Director for Project Lift.

Amanda also cites the Private side of the Project LIFT website as a critical tool for communicating with enrolled students, their families, and the mentors who volunteer to help the students.

As an Administrator, Amanda cites our Support team as one of her favorite features! She also enjoys the "flexibility to customize my pages with the modules including the option of templates." She finds the Email Bulletins templates helpful because they make emails "more appealing and readable." A few more of her favorite features include eForms, Documents, the Events Calendar, and the Address Book.

We congratulate Project LIFT on being named the Client in the Spotlight and we look forward to many more years of supporting this important organization!

We are always searching for communities to feature in the AtHomeNet Gazette! If you would like to submit your community to be considered for the Community in the Spotlight feature, please contact us at [email protected] or visit the Administrator's website and submit the eForm!
